A user can ask ChatGPT to create a resignation letter, discussion prompts for classes and even tests for students. ![]() Unlike other search engines, such as Google, ChatGPT can be conversational, giving human-like responses and dialogue with a user. “What is different about GPT is that it is generative, that it creates the kind of outputs in ways that normal human beings understand as opposed to just kind of outputting code or data” that only a subset of the population understands, Conner said. How ChatGPT became popular so quicklyĪdam Conner, vice president for technology Policy at the Center for American Progress, said ChatGPT became so popular quickly because it is one of the first AI technologies of its kind to be available to the public in a way the public can understand it. New York City and Seattle public schools have banned the use of ChatGPT from their devices and networks, citing concerns about cheating and a negative impact on learning. “While the tool may be able to provide quick and easy answers to questions, it does not build critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, which are essential for academic and lifelong success,” Jenna Lyle, a spokesperson for New York City’s Department of Education, said. Although a huge advancement in the technology field, educators and school systems must grapple with the new tool and the challenges it introduces. ![]()

![]() ![]() The gamebreaker 2 almost seems like the developer's attempt to try to counterbalance this, in that it gives you a reason not to just push the gamebreaker button every single time it pops up. And odds are you probably aren't super adept at defense, since the defensive portion of this game, just like the first, is mostly an afterthought. This means that unless you're super adept at playing defense, chances are you'll run into at least a few gamebreakers per game, if not more. Specifically, the gigantic style-point bonuses you can get by hitting hotspots lets you fill up your gamebreaker meters extremely quickly. While both the new wall moves and the new gamebreaker move are neat ideas, they also conspire to unbalance the gameplay. Of course, the standard gamebreakers pretty much guaranteed that your team would score, so now this new gamebreaker simply eliminates any of that doubt. This move actually wrests control away from you for a brief period and transfers into a cutscene, where, regardless of whether you're on offense or defense, your players will pull off some manner of insane maneuver to get the ball to the end zone. However, if you hold off and let the second meter build on top of that one, you can do a gamebreaker 2. If you fill the first one up, you can press the appropriate button and send your team into gamebreaker mode for the usual span of a single drive. Now you actually have two gamebreaker meters to fill as you pull off all your nifty little style moves. Outside of wall moves, there's also a new type of gamebreaker move, aptly titled the gamebreaker 2. However, if the defense gets to you first and tackles you into one of these hotspots, they'll get their own bonus. There are also a series of hotspots set across each of the game's stages, where, by performing wall jumps and jukes specifically into them, you'll get a humongous style-point bonus. Wall jukes give you a little more spin or bounce as you move past a defender, and wall jumps simply let you leap over the defense. These are basically stylish jukes and jumps that can be performed simply by pressing the style-move button and the corresponding juke or jump button while running near a wall. The biggest change comes in the form of wall moves. ![]() All the fundamentals, including the style moves, simplified playbooks, and gamebreakers, are back again just as they were before. It’s interesting in it’s own way but it’s not what I’m looking for.Īh well, I guess for the time being I’ll use Instagram for posting the pretty pictures, will re-post a bunch of them on Flickr for location tagging and will continue with business pictures on Google Maps. I guess there’s also Google Maps, but the photos I post there are really photos of businesses that are intended to be useful, rather than pretty pictures. On the other hand, it does have a map function… it’s not as nice as the Instagram one, but it fulfils my desire to view the places I’ve tagged photos in. I’ve never been 100% convinced by using Flickr, it’s not quite what I’m looking for. This might once again push me back to Flickr. If it’s more profitable for them to get rid of the map function then that’s the only thing that makes sense for them as a business, it’s just that it sucks for users like me who like it. It’s a shame that Instagram thinks it’s underused and therefore not worth supporting but, in their defence, they’ve got to make money somehow. When I can add a location to a photo it makes it feel much more data rich, but if I can’t then visualise that data in a meaningful way, it’s kind of a waste. I’m kind of a social media junkie (I know, shocker, right?) and the documenting of stuff is part of why. It’s a major part of what appeals to me about Instagram. And then, as you zoom in, the clusters of photos divide into smaller groups so you can see more specifically where the photos were taken. I love to look back at the maps this way, zooming in to see all the places I’ve posted in Glasgow, or zooming out to see photos of places I’ve travelled to. Then you can use the map view to see where all those photos are pinned. For those who don’t use Instagram, it means that if you tag the location of a photo when you post it, it adds it to your map. It’s cool that you can see not only where the pictures were taken but also, when you zoom out, that you can see how many were taken in an approximate area Make your mind up Instagram! Knock them with your knuckles and listen for a dull, hollow sound. The skin overall becomes duller and tougher.īut the most popular way to tell if watermelons are ripe is the sound. It is initially greenish, but as the watermelon ripens, the green tinge disappears and it becomes yellowish. The most obvious sign is a curly tendril at the stem, once it is totally dry (kind of like straw), it is ready.Īnother sign is the light coloured patch on the bottom of the fruit. Telling when a watermelon is ripe is a work of art. This isn’t essential, you can let them grow on their own. If you’re after large fruit, you can pinch out the tip of the branch after several fruits have set. Brush the pollen laden stamen against the stigma in the centre of the female so the pollen sticks. Pull off several male flowers and remove their petals. You can take matters in to your own hands and “hand pollinate.” This is best done early in the morning. If the plant does produce female flowers but the little fruit at the base of it shrivels up and dies, then the flowers are not getting pollinated. Watermelon flowers are pollinated by insects. This could be a number of reasons, too hot, too cold, not enough water or not enough nutrients. If you don’t see any female flowers, in short, it means that your watermelon plant is not happy. The female flowers are larger and you’ll be able to see the tiny melon beginning to form at the base of the flower. Watermelons grow male and female flowers on the same vine. Watermelons are very hungry plants too, we recommend using a high nitrogen fertiliser in the early stages and switch to a fertiliser that is higher in potassium once they begin to flower and fruit. Applying mulch also helps to keep weeds at bay. Make sure that their soil doesn’t dry out, applying a thick layer of mulch or compost will also help with that. Watermelons have shallow roots and they need a lot of moisture. Gently move the vines in the direction that you would like them to grow. Watermelon seedlings germinate very quickly, after a few weeks you’ll be able determine the weak watermelons from the strong, thin out your crop by keeping the strong seedlings.Īs they start to grow bigger, they will begin to take over more space, even potentially smothering other plants in their vicinity. If your soil isn’t rich, planting in a mound is a good way to add compost to the area that you’re planting your watermelons in. Planting in mounds means that the water won’t sit on the soil, watermelons don’t like wet feet. Make sure that you give them some room between rows (1 metre) and half a metre between mounds. Plant your seeds a half inch deep (12mm), sow 4-5 seeds in mounds. The soil should be around 18☌ to allow them to germinate. If your soil is lacking in nutrients look to add some compost or organic matter as watermelons like rich soil. Start your watermelon seeds in the ground where you would like them to grow. Generally from late November onwards should be fine to plant in most areas. You will need around three months of warm (20-25☌ days), sunny weather to grow and ripen a watermelon, so take this in to consideration when planting. ![]() ![]() Hotels near Groveland Yosemite Gateway Museum.Hotels near Pine Mountain Lake Golf Course.Hotels near Rush Creek Lodge at Yosemite.Individually-wrapped food options are available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
